Scope of This Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Sesano handles information when you use the iOS app. The app is designed for local play and does not require an account or an internet-based game service.
Information Stored on Your Device
The app stores your chosen nickname, avatar, accessibility preferences, game settings, device identifiers created by the app, and local match reports on your device. This information supports local identity, reconnection, preferences, and match history. You can clear local match history from Settings, and removing the app removes its locally stored data according to iOS behavior.
Nearby Multiplayer Information
During a local multiplayer session, the app exchanges game state, player nicknames, app-generated identifiers, device capabilities, and connection timing information directly among nearby participating devices through Apple platform networking. This information is used to discover a room, maintain the session, synchronize challenges, and reconnect a player. The app does not send this game data to a developer-operated server.
Camera, Motion, Audio, and Haptics
- Camera access is optional and is used only while scanning a nearby player's Sesano join code. Camera images are not saved by the app.
- Motion sensor readings are used on the device for optional tilt challenges and are not retained as a history.
- Audio and haptic features provide game cues. The app does not record microphone audio.
Apple Platform Services
Apple may process technical, diagnostic, download, or App Store information under Apple's own policies. The app also relies on iOS permission controls for local network, camera, and motion access. We do not use advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking.
Retention and Security
Local records remain on your device until you clear them or remove the app. Multiplayer data exists as needed for the active local session. We use platform protections and limit processing to what is needed for app operation, but no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children's Privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a developer-operated service.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the app or applicable requirements change. A revised policy will identify its effective date.
